TEL Woodworking is happy to now offer Langstroth style beehives. Beehives will be built to order at the customer's request.

I build my beehives to the universal Langstroth specifications. Beehives are available with the customer's preferred combination of shallow, medium and deep supers; as well as bottom entance board, inner cover, and outer cover.

I use cypress lumber for my beehives, which are sure to last much longer than those built with the usual material, pine lumber. I glue and screw my pieces together to ensure years of long lasting dependability.

All supers are rabbeted to accept standard honeycomb frames and have sturdy handles on opposite ends for confident handling of the active hive. My outer covers feature a 26 gauge galvanized steel skin, to completely block any weathering on the top of the hive, which is vulnerable to premature decay because it is flat.

Beehives can be left their natural color, or I can apply a clear coat of weather seal or white paint as some peope prefer.
